Ohhhh September....

Uhem, where has September gone? Or even the Summer, for that matter.

We as a family have done a lot and gone a lot of places throughout this Summer and here are some pics of our first Summer as a family of FOUR...

Connor at the water park

Carly's first swim

Some yard work getting done

There was a lot of baseball played

A few trips to the beach

Connor got a library card (loves that place!) and Carly learned to crawl (check the background of the pic)

Connor and Justin took a couple fishing trips

Carly has found a love for jumping. Which also wears her out.

I have A LOT more pictures that I would like to share about our Summer, but the website isn't cooperating. So you will just have to read about it.

Lets see......We recently drove to Hanford, visited the famous Superior Dairy and enjoyed some ice cream. Drove a little further down the road and visited a family friend's dairy. The kids enjoyed the trip. Connor has visited many parks and enjoys playing outside wayyyyy more than being inside. On a side note, it has been my goal all Summer to not let the kids get sunburned and so far, I have accomplished it!

As mentioned before, Carly is now mobile and gets into everything. Her favorite things to do right now are: EAT, bang on the metal trash can in the kitchen and chew on any type of power cord that she can get to. She sits up all on her own and in fact, yesterday she pulled herself up on her knees for the first time. She smiles constantly and is such a great baby.

Connor is growing up and getting smarter every day. He loves, loves, loves Cars right now. The Disney movie Cars, and any kind of matchbox/hot wheels car he can get his hand on. He likes being rewarded for his good deeds and knows when he has done something to deserve a reward (jelly bean, m & m...). Most of the time he is happy to share things with his little sister, but he is a great, loving brother all of the time.

**Connorisms**

~So the other day, we we driving onto the freeway and Connor saw a shopping cart on the side of the road and pointed it out. I asked him what it was doing on the side of the road and he told me that it was just "hanging out."
